What Can You do To Help the School?
Russell Haffner

We sometimes receive emails from students asking how they can help the school. We currently do not have any available employment/volunteer positions available in the school. However, please consider the following ways your congregation can help:

  • 1. Let the members of your congregation know about the lessons available at the WVBS Online Bible School (https://school.wvbs.org/). This is a great resource for those who desire an in-depth, comprehensive study of God's word. In the school they will find a free Bible study program which provides exactly what they need to better understand God's word.
  • 2.Tell non-Christians about the school's website so they can learn the truth (https://school.wvbs.org/). At this time, we have an average of over 1,000 new students enrolling each week, and of that number 75% are not yet members of the Lord's church. You can help us reach more souls with the truth.
  • 3.Help the school financially. We need faithful congregations to help support the ongoing efforts of the school. Yes, the school is available for free to the students, but there are costs involved: cost to distribute, cost to maintain and cost to administer. We are always in need of financial help to continue our efforts to provide free online Bible lessons. We would be honored to accept any financial help your congregation can give (https://store.wvbs.org/product/wvbs-donation-school/).
  • 4.Pray for the ongoing success of the school in reaching souls. We currently have over 130,000 students from over 186 different countries enrolled in the school. However, this is such a small number when compared to the many souls in the world who have yet to learn the truth. Please pray that we can continue our work to reach more people with the truth.

  • The "Mark Complete" Button

If you have already watched several lessons you may have noticed the “Mark Complete” button located below each video. This feature helps you to track your progress as you view the videos. We encourage you to always click this button when you finish viewing a lesson. The marking of lessons serves as a guide for your own information to mark your place in the study. Even if the lesson is marked complete you can return to watch it again as many times as you want.

For additional information please see the Help Center (https://school.wvbs.org/about/help/) at the school website. In the Help Center (https://school.wvbs.org/about/help/) you will find an article which will walk you through the necessary steps to track your progress by marking each lesson complete. It is titled: How-to: "Mark Complete" Lessons (https://school.wvbs.org/about/help/mark-complete-lessons/).
