Description and Purpose: This is an in-depth study of the books of 1st, 2nd, 3rd John and Jude. The student will be instructed to understand the conditions of fellowship with God, to know John’s tests of a Christian, to understand the antichrist, to know and be able to contrast the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of error, to understand the threat of Gnosticism and John’s answer to it, to understand how to react to false teachers and their teachings, and to understand Jude’s command to contend for the faith once delivered.
