One of the most encouraging qualities I see in our students is perseverance. Many of you are balancing work, family responsibilities, congregational service, and countless daily obligations, yet you continue to make time for studying God's word. That steady commitment is a testimony to your desire to grow spiritually.
Spiritual maturity is rarely the result of a single moment. More often, it is developed through consistent faithfulness over time. Each lesson completed, each passage carefully considered, and each truth applied adds another stone to a solid spiritual foundation. While progress may sometimes seem slow, every sincere effort helps us to grow in wisdom and understanding.
There may be occasions when your schedule becomes overwhelming or your studies seem especially challenging. During those times, don't lose sight of the purpose behind your efforts. Every hour spent in God's word equips you to better serve Him, encourage others, and stand firmly in your faith. The investment you make today will continue to bless your life for years to come.
I also hope you will remember that your studies are not merely for personal benefit. As your knowledge increases, so does your opportunity to teach, encourage, and influence those around you. God can use your growing understanding to strengthen your family, your congregation, and your community.
Thank you for your continued diligence and dedication to studying the Scriptures. My prayer is that God will bless your efforts and strengthen your resolve as you seek to know Him more fully through the study of His inspired word.
The WVBS Online Bible School has no statement of faith, creed book or religious manual. The only statement of a Christian's faith which is needed is the Bible. If a statement of faith says less than the Bible it has left something out. If a statement of faith says more than the Bible it has added to God's word (Revelation 22:18-19). Let us abandon the opinions of men and seek to practice and teach only that which is found in God's word. The staff of the school is composed of Christians seeking to teach others about the Bible. The material produced is designed to be used by anybody seeking a greater understanding of God's word.
The goal of the school is to serve God and His people by doing His will to the best of our ability. We have a genuine desire to glorify the Father, His beloved Son, His word and His blood-bought church and not to glorify ourselves or any other men.
