Each new year brings new opportunities. Young poet, Juansen Dizon wrote, "I hope you realize that every day is a fresh start for you. That every sunrise is a new chapter in your life waiting to be written." Spiritually we should remember that each new year, and each day of that new year, is an opportunity to increase our faith and draw closer to God.
As we begin the new year it is exciting to see more seekers of truth finding the school's website (https://school.wvbs.org/). There are currently over 70,000 students enrolled, making the WVBS Online Bible School one of the largest Bible schools in the world with students from over 190 different countries. Thank you for being a part of the school. I commend you for your desire to increase your faith and draw closer to God through a study of the Scriptures.
Former law professor, Michael Josephson, once said, "Approach the New Year with resolve to find the opportunities hidden in each new day." Each day of this new year we have an opportunity to grow in our faith. So how do we grow in faith? The Bible has the answer! Romans 10:17 states, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." It is God's word that produces faith in our lives. Let us never forget that faith is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4) and our faith is made perfect by our actions (James 2:22). One such action to build a stronger faith is studying the Bible Courses provided in the WVBS Online Bible School.
The school is designed to provide you with an online, comprehensive, in-depth study of the Bible. The lessons are pure non-denominational teaching based on an accurate "drawing out" of what the Bible teaches, not reading into the text what someone might think it teaches. The school is designed for you to receive a focused, organized and thorough study of the Bible.
You have your priorities right by studying the Bible. The new year will surely be a blessing to you as you grow in your knowledge of the Scriptures. Make this new year a year of knowledge and spiritual growth!
If you have already registered for a course you may have noticed the tab which is labeled "Instructions." This is where you will find the course syllabus that has information about the course and the requirements needed to earn a certificate for the course. This is a very helpful reference for the Formal and Informal Students who are taking the courses for credit. However, Auditing Students will also find the Syllabus to be an excellent starting point to understand the purpose of the course and the structure of the lessons. All students should begin each course by reading the Course Instructions.
