During times of difficulty or struggle it is always helpful to hear encouraging words from others. It could be you need reassurance as you dedicate yourself to learning more about God's word and seek to live a life which is pleasing to Him. It may comfort you to learn that many others are also engaged in this endeavor. We currently have over 11,000 students and they are facing many of the same challenges that you face in your own studies. I hope it helps you to know that you are not alone.
I would direct you to look to the encouraging words found in the pages of the Bible. The inspired writers often stated their confidence in the ability of Christians to grow in faith and follow the path of righteousness (Hebrews 6:9-12). The Bible repeatedly tells us that we can be successful in our desire to live a life of obedience. In 2 Thessalonians 3:4 Paul wrote, "And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you." As you seek a better understanding of God's word through an in-depth and comprehensive study of the Bible you need to believe in yourself. It may be difficult at times but you will surely be rewarded if you continue to push yourself to learn more. You can do it!
The bottom line is we all need encouragement and we all need to be encouragers. Each of us has a responsibility to uplift others. Therefore, I want to encourage you to remain confident in your abilities as you continue your studies. Don't let anything stop you as you seek a closer relationship with God.
