Description and Purpose: This is an in-depth study of the epistle of First Timothy with emphasis on practical application. Attention will be given to the book’s background, authorship, date and content. Students will gain knowledge about God’s instructions concerning Christians fighting the good fight of faith, prayer, the proper role/conduct for women, the qualifications of elders and deacons, the proper treatment of various groups and a warning concerning the dangers of riches.
