If a church after the pattern of the New Testament (https://school.wvbs.org/video-bible-study/#church-of-your-choice) does not exist in your community you should begin one, and the natural place to meet would be in your own home. Many Bible references indicate the first century believers met in homes (Romans 16:5; 1 Corinthians 16:19; Philemon 1:2). For over two centuries, the government did not permit the church to own property, and yet it grew and prospered like no other time in history. There may be circumstances where buying or renting a meeting hall would be helpful, but you should never think that you must buy property to start a congregation of the Lord's people. The true church is God's people, not a building.
After you have obeyed God's plan of salvation by being baptized for the remission of sins (https://school.wvbs.org/video-bible-study/#the-bible), you should set a regular time on Sunday for your worship service. The church can begin meeting in your home or some other building for worship. You should sing (psalms, hymns and spiritual songs), pray to God in the name of Jesus, preach God's word (read scripture and explain its meaning), observe the Lord's Supper and give a contribution (funds to be used to fulfill the growth and development of the church). It is important that you worship according to the pattern set forth in the New Testament (https://school.wvbs.org/video-bible-study/#the-church)
You should also try to teach your friends the truth. The early church "went everywhere preaching the word" (Acts 8:4).
The WVBS Online Bible School is designed to provide students with an online, comprehensive, in-depth study of the Bible. The lessons are pure non-denominational teaching based on an accurate "drawing out" of what the Bible teaches, not reading into the text what someone might think it teaches. The courses cover every book in the Bible, plus four additional subjects which help you in your understanding of the scriptures (Christian Evidences, Hermeneutics, Greek and How We Got the Bible). The school is designed for anyone who wants a focused, organized and thorough study of the Bible.
