Description and Purpose: This is a detailed study of the books of Jeremiah and Lamentations. Students will (1) gain a deeper knowledge and acceptance of God’s rulership of all nations, (2) understand the Lord’s church was not an afterthought, but that it was in the mind of God even in the time of Jeremiah, (3) understand the relationship between the prophets and the people of God, (4) understand God’s promises, for good or for evil, and (5) understand God’s relationship to those He considers His own.
